How has your firm benefited from implementing assessments or other aspects of financial psychology?
DataPoints assessments are a core component of our firm’s onboarding process. The assessments help us get to know prospective clients better at the onset of an engagement and further refine the financial plan of existing clients. The risk profile assessment is crucial in crafting the Investment Policy Statement for clients pursuing investment management services.
What’s the most significant benefit of using assessments?
The assessments are most beneficial for our practice at the beginning of the engagement when we are still in that “getting to know you” phase. You can use the assessment results to ask clarifying questions, and clients are usually willing to open up. It takes the financial planning relationship deeper right away.
What is the history behind the partnership between WorthyNest and DataPoints?
WorthyNest founder Deb Meyer met Sarah Stanley Fallaw at XY Planning Network’s fall 2016 conference; it was divine intervention. WorthyNest has been a DataPoints subscriber from the beginning, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate their 10-year anniversary!
